Marianne Williamson believes that we are ‘the angels we have been waiting for’, i.e. we have the power to change our own attitudes and circumstances. There is no need to give in to the feeling of failure, which she describes as ‘oh no, I’ve failed again’, where we wait for a certain type of person to show up and fix things - instead, we can be that person.
