In 1976, A group of investors from the Faculty of Medicine, Chiang Mai University, Lawyers and Businessmen in Chiang Mai founded the Lanna Hospital with a registered capital of 20 million baht and operations began on 1 July.Lanna Hospital is an acute care private hospital full equipped with model facilities and with competent health-care provides. We had qualified ISO-9002 certificate for conforming to the international standard for quality in all aspects of services from quality management company BM TRADA. And now going to achieve Hospital Accreditation.

Facility

The hospital was expanded to a 180 bed hospital. A new 6-storey wing was constructed (including basement floor). The number of beds was increased by 42. Construction was completed in 1994 and the registered capital was increased to 40 million baht. In 1995, the hospital became part of the Thonburi Hospital network. In 1990 the hospital X-Ray room was expanded and fitted with a computerised X-Ray system (CT. Scan, Whole body system) It was the first such system in any hospital in the region.
