How to Cleanse the Liver

The liver is one of our body parts that often becomes overrun with toxins and this is because we are introducing new toxins every day. The result is stones within the liver and the gall bladder, which end up hampering the natural detoxification process further. Cleansing the liver can rid you of back pain, allergies, hives, and more. Many people don’t realize how many symptoms they had as a result of a congested liver until after they cleanse it!

The liver cleansing process is very affordable and will cost you less than $10. On the day of the cleanse you will want to eat a no fat breakfast and you will not want to eat after 2pm. At 2pm you will need to mix four tablespoons of Epsom slats in three cups of water with ½ teaspoon of vitamin C powder and mix them well. You’ll then place the jar in the refrigerator so that it becomes as cold as possible.

At 6pm you will take ¾ cup of the mixture that you created earlier and you’ll repeat a ¾ cup serving at 8pm. At about 10 minutes to 10 you will want to pour ¾ cup of olive oil into a jar along with ¾ cup fresh squeezed grapefruit and lemon juice. Shake the mix and then drink it down as quickly as possible. You’ll likely need to take a couple trips to the bathroom at this point.

At 10pm you’ll go to bed and pull your legs to your chest, in the fetal position. You’ll want to stay this way for at least 30 minutes and then you can lay on your back. You should try to stay still for at least 20 minutes on your back because this will help the oils do their job in the liver, making it throw off stones, gravel, and even crystals that have accumulated there.

At 6am you will want to take your third dose of the Epsom salt mixture and two hours later you’ll take your fourth and last dose. After this you will want to drink some fresh squeezed juice and then move onto fresh fruit. You may still be having frequent bowel movements, in which you will actually see the stones floating on top of the water as you pass them.

You should add foods to your diet slowly so that you don’t overwhelm your body. You may continue to have loose stools for the remainder of the second day. Be sure to drink plenty of water to avoid dehydration and focus on eating fat free, fresh foods to allow your system to adjust to food again after a partial fast. You’ll feel lighter and healthier instantly and you can repeat the liver cleanse in as little as two weeks until you are no longer passing stones. A liver cleanse should be done at least twice a year and a tablespoon of olive oil a day will keep your liver in great shape at all times!
