Colon Cleansing: Home Detox Recipes

If you are new to colon cleanses you may be surprised to learn that there are a wide variety of colon cleansing options for you to choose from. While some people swear by a coffee cleanse others find that wheatgrass, water, or essential oils do the trick. You may need to try them all before you find the one that is right for you. When you start looking around for colon cleanse options you’ll find that there are thousands of different options, you just need to choose the one that you are most comfortable with and give it a try.

The Coffee Cleansecoffee Colon Cleansing: Home Detox Recipes

Also known as the coffee enema, the coffee colon cleanse is a great option for those that suffer from a variety of symptoms such as constipation, gout, arthritis, hormone imbalances, and even skin diseases. Many of us don’t know it, but in that cup of Joe that we drink each morning we are actually consuming one of the most detoxifying agents out there. To make your own coffee cleanse all you need to do is mix 6 tablespoons of ground coffee into two quarts of steam distilled water and boil for 15 minutes. Allow the mixture to cool and then strain. You should never use instant or decaffeinated coffee for a cleanse. You’ll use one pint per enema and you should avoid doing this cleanse in the evening due to the caffeine content.

Wheatgrass Colon Cleanse

The wheatgrass colon cleanse is an option that many people favor. The reason for this is that the chlorophyll in the wheatgrass stimulates the body in such a way that it actually releases mucus and old fecal matter. The wheatgrass serves to purge the liver and full of nutrients that will be absorbed through the colon and into the body.

The Water Cleanse

The water cleanse or water enema is one of the most popular. The reason for this is that everyone has water on hand and there is no need to worry about adverse reactions to the enema contents. When you do this you should be sure that you use purified water so that you aren’t introducing any bacteria into your system through tainted tap or well water. Many people use a salt water cleanse and many people like the water to be luke warm instead of cold or even room temperature as it makes the process much more comfortable.

Essential Oils Colon Cleanse

Essential oils are becoming more common as a colon cleanse. There are a wide variety of essential oils that you may want to try, but you should be sure before hand that you are not allergic or prone to an adverse reaction. You may want to combine the oils with warm water. One complaint that people have about essential oils is that they make a bigger mess.

Colema Boards

Colema Boards are a great way to do your own enemas. The reason for this is that they keep the colon cleanse process safe, easy, and comfortable. You can use these boards in the comfort of your own home so that you can clean the lower colon any time you want.
